Arkansas.
Henderson State is Arkansas' public liberal arts university, whose primary mission is to excel in undergraduate education, always striving to enrich the quality of learning and teaching. The university's commitment to excellence has established a sense of unity that offers care and concern to students, faculty, and staff during the education for tomorrow's leaders. Henderson State University Web Site The members of Sigma Phi Epsilon at Henderson State strive to be the scholars, athletes, leaders, and gentlemen of the campus. Our Fraternity is based on three cardinal principles: Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love. Arkansas Beta was founded on Henderson's campus on May 15th, 1954. The experience of being a Sig Ep is priceless due to the opportunities to broaden communication and organizational skills and to develop the qualities of being an effective leader. To aid this experience, a program called the Balanced Man project was formed. This is to ensure that all Sig Ep men will have the opportunity to get the most out of their college experience by becoming balanced in all areas, which will be beneficial for not only the time while in college but also for life.
