It's That Cool

What is Henderson Television?

Henderson Television (HTV) was re-introduced after a hiatus to the Henderson campus in 2003 and like its sister station, KSWH The Pulse 99.9, is almost exclusively ran by students. Available as a course for Henderson Students, TV Practicum provides hand-on experience for students interested in going into the field of television. Students work as a team to produce original programming which airs locally.

Original programming can include anything from variety shows, news and sports shows, to original student material created in other classes.

Henderson Television is just as campus aware as its sister, KSWH, and regularly attends campus events. We can gain a much needed video perspective and air events that could not be justified by sound alone. Henderson Television also runs its own events that can include contests or fund raisers. Most of these events coincide with KSWH which also runs on the same campus. With radio and television working together that means double the advertising capabilities, double the event exposure, and just much more to enjoy.
