MMC 1351 - INTRO TO RADIO BROADCAST PRACTICUM
All broadcast students (Mass Media majors/minors) without in-station KSWH experience are required to take this introductory course.  Each student enrolled will attend the practicum class once a week, work an on-air board shift following the station format, participate in a specific work area of the radio station, train with staff personnel and shadow advanced students during the course of the semester.  Students will receive basic training in radio production techniques.

MMC 3351, 3352 - RADIO BROADCAST PRACTICUM
Students will continue to build on the knowledge and skills attained through MMC 1351.  Additional instruction will be given with emphasis on advanced broadcast techniques, production, remote broadcasts, use of the voice and regulations of the Federal Communications Commission.  Cooperative broadcast efforts with Henderson Television may occur and require student involvement.  This course may be repeated for credit, though a maximum of six hours may be applied toward an undergraduate degree

MMC 2163 - RADIO PRODUCTION
This course is designed to introduce the student to techniques of modern radio production. Emphasis will be placed on live broadcasting, in-studio production, programming issues and audience research. Instruction will take place in the classroom and within Henderson's own broadcast station. "KSWH, 99.9 FM."
